SOURCE: The grapes for this year's blend were sourced from neighboring farms in Bo-Hoek, Franschhoek valley.
WEATHER: Prior to ripening, the conditions were extremely dry and hot.
HARVESTING: The Grapes were hand harvested in the coolness of early morning on various dates from February to April and transported back to the cellar under cold conditions to retain freshness.
Cellar
VINIFICATION: This wine was fermented cool & slow in stainless steel tank. Blended and left on the lees for maturation. This Rosé was matured longer than typical Rosé style wines to achieve complexity on the pallet and to create a Rosé that can be enjoyed in multiple environments.
Tasting & Analysis
TASTING NOTES: A bouquet of strawberry, peaches and cream accompanied by a smooth and rounded pallet this is a simplistic wine with depth to be enjoyed with or without a meal and is definitely not weather dependent!
FOOD ACCOMPANIMENT: This Blend may be enjoyed with a variety of occasions and cuisines
